He completed the puzzle, and is possessed by the spirit of an ancient Pharaoh. A game lover name Yugi Muto is given an ancient item by his grandfather known as the three thousand year old Millennium Puzzle. Lastly Miho Nosaka, is a main character in this series along with Yugi Muto, Joey Wheeler, Tea Gardner, and Tristan Taylor. The level of violence was reduced in the manga, and anime. Manga plots were re written so that they could take up an entire episode's screen time. While this series is not connected to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters (Anime), both series are based on the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga.
The series was produced by Toei Animation, and aired in Japan on Apto October 10, 1998. Yu-Gi-Oh! (遊☆戯☆王) is a hit old school style Japanese anime series.
